At Millbrook Estate, we don’t just welcome same sex weddings – we celebrate them. In fact, it’s incredibly personal to us. Eleven years ago, Bob’s daughter Charlotte married the love of her life Sara, right here at Millbrook, and it was a truly beautiful, emotional day that we’ll never forget.

Since then, we’ve proudly hosted many wonderful LGBTQ+ couples and it’s always a privilege to be part of their love story. Whether it’s just the two of you or a small gathering with up to four guests, our same-sex elopement weddings are designed to be relaxed, romantic, and completely about you.

Your ceremony takes place in our Summer House – a private, licensed space nestled in 32 acres of peaceful North Devon countryside. In the colder months, enjoy a roaring log fire and soft candlelight. In warmer weather, throw open the big doors and feel the gentle breeze and birdsong as you say your vows surrounded by nature.

Every couple who marries at Millbrook becomes part of our story – and we’d love to be part of yours. If you’d like us to be your witnesses, we’d be honoured. If you’d rather bring your own, they’ll be warmly welcomed too.

Love is love, and your day should be everything you’ve dreamed of. We’re here to make that happen.

Our Same Sex Wedding Packages Include:

❤️ A mini-moon stay in one of our luxury 5* self-catering accommodations (prices vary depending on the accommodation and length of stay).
❤️ Your same sex wedding on the day of your choice in our beautiful Summerhouse.
❤️ A wedding coordinator who will support you throughout and be there on your wedding day.
❤️ Our stunning grounds for your wedding photographs and memories.
❤️ We would love to be your witnesses (if required).
❤️ A bottle of celebratory bubbles to toast after your ceremony.
❤️ The Summerhouse is yours until 4 p.m. on your wedding day, so you can relax and sip fizz in front of the open log fire or outside in the sun.

If you would like to share your day with close family and friends, you can bring up to 4 guests (at £75 each, including a glass of prosecco).

Every wedding at Millbrook is unique, and we have plenty of ideas to inspire you to create a highly personalised and memorable day.

❤️ Why not organise a Devon cream tea, high tea, or even canapés after your ceremony? Private dining can also be arranged, or you can choose from one of the many local award-winning eateries.
