At Millbrook Estate we specialise in romantic, personal elopement weddings. We're a small elopement venue tucked away in a beautiful North Devon valley — and one of England's first dedicated elopement venues, holding ceremonies since 2011. We never host more than one wedding a day, so you'll never share your wedding day with another couple.
Everything we offer is designed for couples who want to get married without the stress, family politics or cost of a traditional wedding. Whether that's a just the two of us wedding with no guests at all, or a micro wedding with up to four guests, our licensed Summerhouse is a warm, intimate space to say your vows. Elope in the UK
Millbrook is a beautiful venue for your elopement. Whether it's just the two of you or you decide to bring up to four guests — dogs are very welcome too — you can exchange your vows in our licensed Summerhouse or out in the gardens and grounds. With 5-metre folding doors, the Summerhouse opens out beautifully for alfresco ceremonies. Just the two of you? We'd love to be your witnesses, making the day entirely about you and your love for each other.

Looking for a stress-free, beautiful way to say "I do"? Our elopement wedding packages include everything you need for a relaxed, personal day.
Stay in one of our 5★ luxury Devon properties for your Mini Moon — choose 2, 3, 4 or 7 nights, prices vary depending on the property and length of stay.
Your wedding, your way — get married on the day of your choice, in the Summer House in front of a roaring log fire or outdoors in the grounds.
We'd love to be your witnesses at no extra cost, if required.

What is an elopement wedding venue?
An elopement wedding venue is a location designed for a small, personal ceremony — either just the couple and their witnesses, or with a small handful of guests. Unlike traditional wedding venues, everything is built around you rather than a big guest list. Millbrook Estate was one of the first dedicated elopement venues in England, with a licensed Summerhouse, private gardens and 5-star accommodation on site.
What's included in an elopement package at Millbrook?
Our packages include your ceremony in the Summerhouse or gardens, a stay in one of our 5-star cottages, and support from our small, friendly team from first enquiry to the day itself. Registrar fees are separate — this is the same for all venues in England — but we'll send you the direct booking link when you're ready. You can add flowers, photography, catering and more through our trusted local suppliers.
Are your elopement packages available all year round?
Yes — we host elopements in every season. Spring blossom, summer garden ceremonies with the doors flung open, autumn colours across the estate, cosy winter weddings by the log fire. Each season has its own character and we love them all.
