Winter weddings at Millbrook are so special and unique, and create such amazing memories.

Perfect for those wanting an intimate romantic ceremony with just the two of you or up to 4 guests. Your wedding ceremony will take place in the Summerhouse and it will be dressed for your wedding and have a roaring log fire and underfloor heating. We can also open the 5m doors, and you can enjoy a nearly alfresco winter wedding ceremony (many couples choose to hold their wedding ceremony outside or under the old oak tree).

The Summer House is yours until 4pm on your wedding day, so you can relax and sip champagne in front of the open log fire.

Pricing & Accommodation

ELOPEMENT WEDDING & STAY

Winter weddings start from £999 for a 2 night elopement and mini-moon in Pulley Mill or Corncott. Check out our online brochure for more information on pricing.

It is no secret that winter weddings are cheaper then summer elopements, but this just means they are greater value for money!

Create wonderful memories within the romantic ambience of the Summer House, with the open log fire and unique photograph opportunities around the estate, all while saving some money. Please note Registrar fees are not included in the price.

If you would like to share your day with close family and friends - you can bring up to 4 guests (at £50 each including a glass of Champagne).

For your guests, why not book them into one of our on-site properties? We are offering a 15% discount for wedding guests staying at Millbrook in January & February 2023, and we have a great list of local accommodation options.

Our Winter Elopement Wedding Packages at Millbrook are unique and we have many ideas to inspire you to make your day incredibly personal and memorable.

We recommend a photographer to capture the perfect memories of your special day. Special Winter Elopement wedding packages are available from one of our Millbrook Photographers.
Private dining can be arranged in the summer house, try an evening in our BBQ house or why not escape to one of many local award winning eateries - the choice is yours.

HOW TO BOOK

Please provide us with a couple of preferred wedding dates to get married and check availability with us. Book related accommodation online to ensure this is reserved. Although you enter your card details on booking, we do not take any money until you have confirmed with the Registrar. After booking a step by step guide is sent to you. Accommodation availability can be found here.
Once you have booked your accommodation, the next stage is to visit the Devon Registrars website to book them for your wedding. Visit Here (ensure you select Millbrook Estate and The Summer House). They will require a £50 none refundable deposit. After this, you will need to give notice at your local registration office. You need to do this at least 28 days before your wedding. We strongly advise that you do not make contact with the registrars before talking to Maddy or Bob who can explain the process in more detail.
