We stayed at Millbrook for a long weekend following our wedding up north. It really felt like our own bit of heaven.
We stayed in the Lakeview property - which was extremely well-presented and fitted out with mod cons. Fresh bread and a lovely cake we're waiting for us on our arrival! Such lovely touches which show the effort the whole team go to.
One thing we absolutely loved was how once we'd arrived we were just left to it - even though there were people about it felt like we had the whole estate to ourselves. We loved the hot tub in the woods and walking in the grounds.
One of the highlights was the private dining in the summerhouse - this was secretly arranged for my husband’s birthday and was just perfect.
Overall, it was the perfect stay. We both left feeling the most relaxed we had in years. Just amazing.
We stayed in Rose Cottage for our honeymoon after our wedding at Millbrook. We can only describe our stay as truly magical; from the moment we walked in the door.
The attention to detail in the the cottage was first class: the smell of baking bread, gorgeous smelling scented candles and a welcome cake on the table.
The only thing missing was a clock that stood still so we could stay a bit longer. We will definitely be back to try the other cottages.

We stayed in Corncott for a week following our wedding. We just wanted to unwind and Millbrook fitted the bill perfectly. It really is a fabulous place.
Kate and Bob do a wonderful job of making sure everything is just perfect.
Everything is first class - both in terms of the quality of the surroundings and the effort put into cleanliness and maintenance. They invest heavily in upkeep and enhancement, and it shows.
We would thoroughly recommend it and will be back.
We stayed at Millbrook for our wedding and for our honeymoon, and a brilliant choice we made when we decided to get married here - this place is perfection.
We stayed in Lakeview, which was decorated with lovely rose petals on our arrival. The grounds are stunning, with lakes, hills, streams and woods, beautiful countryside. The hot tub hut (above) is a must, which you can book once you arrived, starlit ceiling, music station and the hot tub is a perfect place to chill and relax, open till late.
All in all, could not fault a thing, the team at Millbrook works very hard, and we loved every minute of our stay. Bob, Kate, Lisa, Collette, Nic (and the whole team, sorry if I missed anyone!) are always there to answer any of your questions and to help out, they go out of their way.
Millbrook is the kind of place you visit once and you immediately know you will have to return.
We had the most amazing stay for our honeymoon in the Wheel Room. The owners and staff were brilliant and always just a phone call away if needed.
There were lots of nice extra touches and everything is so well thought through! We booked the private dining on the first evening and it was absolutely brilliant - highly recommended for a special occasion!
The animals made the visit for us - plenty of chickens and ducks to feed, Willow the cat who kept coming to visit us and the goat!!
Lots of nice walks around the grounds and plenty of places to go exploring. Can't wait to go back and visit again!
